Bonding: RESTORING EROSION DAMAGE FROM EATING LEMONS

Bonding: RESTORING EROSION DAMAGE FROM EATING LEMONS

Eating lemons is a common habit of many individuals although it is not as harmless as it may seem. There is a reasonable amount of acid (citric) in lemons and like any acid the possibility of "eating away" a vulnerable surface exists. An occasional episode of gnawing on lemons does not tend to be destructive as compared to regularly "juicing" a lemon with your front teeth. In this case, Dr. Weinstein applied composite bonding to the front surface of the two front teeth - restoring the teeth to both a smooth surface and more esthetic shape.
